& NEWBORN
As a mom I know how important these photos are. Those newborn days can be hard, but the sweet little sleeping baby (or awake if they want to cooperate!) images will remind you of just how fleeting this time is.
Since I do not currently have a studio space, this means I come to your home to photograph your little bundle. It's also a wonderful way to capture you & your sweet family in the baby's nursery and in their first home! I provide all props, wraps, headbands and extras needed for photos, but you can always incorporate nursery elements, things with their names and momentos.
Maternity and newborn photos can be bundled or you can just book a newborn session. Maternity photos are best scheduled between 32-36 weeks. Newborn sessions are best in the first 14 days after birth, but I am able to adjust and still capture if baby is older too!
I book a select number of newborns due each month. So it is never to early to get in the books as these spots fill fast.

When she got there we were running off zero sleep, a very fussy baby and constant interruptions from everyone around us BUT she remained bubbly & sweet the entire time and had us feeling so enthusiastic about the shots she was getting of our girl! All props, outfits, wraps, headbands, hats and baskets shown in photos are mine and can be used to style your newborn photos. Beyond what I have I like to incorporate things you have for your baby - be it something with their name on it or a family heirloom.
Do you have a fun theme for the nursery?
I can pull pieces from their room and incorporate them! I love to create fun set ups and utilize meaningful items that can create memories and keepsakes.

Around 20 weeks, would be a good time to secure me as your maternity & newborn photographer. I book a limited number of newborn sessions a month, so space is limited!

I know what it's like to be in the postpartum phase. It's not always easy to get ready or have something that fits you comfortably! Here's your reminder that it's totally up to you if you want to be dressed up or comfy in more of a casual relaxed outfit. I will say that I do know how good it does feel to get ready and feel good for photos, despite the struggle it is.
I can absolutely guide you and help in planning if you would like!
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Unless you've modeled professionally, you're probably going to feel awkward in front of the camera. I take photos for a living and even feel like a deer in the headlights when I'm in front of the camera.
You're going to feel awkward at first, but as the session goes on and we coach you through images, we think you'll find that being photographed can actually be fun. And don't worry about your kids. I'm well versed in capturing even the busiest of little ones, and have 3 of my own! There are points where I would rather them not sit still let them be their little busy selves & capture in the moment parenting!

Within a few weeks of your session, you'll receive a link to a digital gallery that will allow you to download high resolution images.
The gallery is also set up to make ordering prints, canvases and other keepsakes as easy as turning on a Roomba to clean your floors.
